Booking Cycles?

  • Booking Process: Please send an inquiry via my Contact page or Email: tattoosbynicks@gmail.com. I will try to do my best to get back to you within a week unless books are currently open. If they are open, PLEASE RESPOND AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE. when sending over your ideas please attach 2-3 reference images you like that way I can get a good idea of what you are wanting.

  • Sessions and Healing: I set up each client one appointment a month. or once every two months. I don’t like having more than 2 months in-between sessions. The number of sessions required depends on various factors like size, pain tolerance, subject matter, and healing. For optimal progress, consider booking back-to-back sessions, particularly if you’re traveling. Allow your body about 3 weeks to heal between sessions.

  • Estimating Sessions: Depending on the complexity, here is a loose idea of how many sessions you might need:

    • Large single subject pieces: 2-4 sessions

    • 1/2 sleeve: 4-7 sessions

    • Full sleeve: 7-12 sessions

    • Legs/Backs: These can require many sessions.

Pricing?

I charge $200 an hour or you can do a “full day” rate which is $1,200. a full day is 6 or more hours. if we go past the 6 hour mark, it will still be $1,200. Full days are a good way to get more work done quicker.

Deposits?

I do not offer a design fee. Because of this, my deposit is $500 and goes towards the last session of your tattoo. Your deposit will void if you no show an appointment or reschedule within 48 hours. Additionally if you wait longer than 6 months between sessions, you will need to place a new deposit. Deposits are non-refundable.

Consultations?

Maybe you have too many ideas, maybe not enough, maybe you’re a little nervous about getting tattooed…THATS OKAY! We offer free consultations Tuesdays- Saturdays. times may vary. for consultations, i’ll have you come in to the studio, we will sit down and talk about all your ideas! if you live far from Salt Lake City or live out of state, we can do a over the phone consultation.

Rescheduling?

We understand things come up! If you need to reschedule your appointment, please give us a minimum of 48 hours so we can try to fill the date. In the event you do not show to your appointment or give us 48 hours notice, you’ll need to place a new deposit.
